Review
A smart, prickly and rewarding view of sexual and emotional confusion ... The writing is lubricious, sometimes grubby and in places savagely unpleasant. But it has a wounding authenticity. We laugh nervously, aware of its precision. Evening Standard Mike Bartlett has proved a devastatingly astute observer of adults behaving badly and this latest work is no exception ... He is mercilessly accurate, wickedly funny and strangely touching. Financial Times

Unconventional and compelling.
By Christopher Hendrix
I would absolutely love to see this play performed.

Bartlett leaves much to your imagination, providing zero written stage direction in the actual script, which naturally gives the play a more bare-bones feel. For someone so used to having stage movement spelled out for them, this was a challenging refresher.

If you get a chance, click on the image of the play and take a look inside at the 'Note' section, directly below 'Characters.' You'll then understand what I mean when I say 'bare-bones.'

A strange, and strangely moving, new work. Daring, and though it may not always please, intrigue is around every corner.

Wild, inventive and sophisticated

Massively entertaining English play...which received an outstanding NYC production in 2012. While nothing can match the visceral experience of seeing this play -- with the title the NY Times refused to print! -- reading it has its own related pleasures. Highly recommended for those people who senses are tuned to reading plays and imagining the staging. And even a lot of fun for those who read plays strictly as literature.

Makes one wonder where the comparable American playwrights are hiding...!

I liked the story and the characters
By Tom oHH
I liked the story and the characters. Our main character is in love with two people. One is his boyfriend, the other is his girlfriend. Through out the play he battles with himself, and them, and his boyfriends father about who is the better person for him to spend his life with. Although the obvious choice for his self esteem and chance at a loving life is clear to him. The one thing that stands in his way is "Cock"
