A Fantastic Book On Isometric Exercise

First, the bad news.
The book isn't really 80 pages. They are including a few blank pages at the ed, and the first few pages aren't content, but they are counted. So..Maybe 70 pages are really content. And $29.95 for a thin book is a little high. There are several editing errors. Some of the photos are very grainy and dark.....and it's hard to understand what is going on.
So, why the four stars? And why didn't I send the book back?
Because the content is gold. Justa has a real understanding of how Isometrics work. I've been doing isometrics for 30 years. It's very rare that I read a book on Isometrics and learn something new. In this book, I learned several different exercises, and how to pull in different directions with each hand...that I had never considered. Justa's understanding of strength building is deep. And he is inventive in how he creates new ways to build power in the ligaments, joints, tendons, nerves, and muscles.
Justa teaches several techniques that I use myself, but I've never seen in print before. He describes how to create surges of tension that increase the effectiveness of the isometric exercise by about 30%. He spends time on how to develop bone crushing full body power. Many of these methods are similar to the most advanced Kung Fu... Chi Kung movements. You'll develop very quick power. You'll build your white muscle fibers, the ones that give you the most power over the shortest period of time.
Justa uses a Power Rack for many of his exercises. So do I. I'd advise you to buy this book, and then ask Justa how to build one. Nothing builds nerves in the muscles like isometrics. And it's the instant contraction of muscle that gives you power. Justa know how to build legs with Isometrics too. Most books ignore legs completely.
